Piano Teacher

I'm passing along some information about a piano teacher in our area--I can vouch for him personally as he is a friend of ours. He plays piano beautifully and he is REALLY GREAT with kids!! I am also including this information on our "Ongoing Local Activities" page (see right). Thank you!

Ryan Stewart will be offering piano lessons in his home in Jonestown beginning Sept 4. Ryan has several openings available. He has been playing the piano since he was a young child and has taught piano to many students through the years. He recently moved to Pennsylvania so these will be his first students in the area. Ryan is an elementary school teacher and works extremely well with children.

Openings Available:
Tue: 4:30, 5:00, 5:30
Thurs: 4:30, 5:00, 5:30

If you have a piano in your home and would prefer to have lessons there please contact Ryan directly to work something out. Also, if none of these times work for you he is willing to work that out as well.

Ryan will be charging $25 per half hour and will be charging for the month in advance. You may pay at your first lesson of each month.

The students will need to provide their own practice books which are available on He will be using the Bastien books. If you are just beginning you will need to get the Primer level. If you have taken lessons before, Ryan will let you know which book to get after your first lesson where he will check to see at what level you are at.

If you have any questions feel free to call him at 865-0786 or email him at Thank you.
